NYC!

I just got back from a fabulous trip to NYC where I walked the National Stationery Show, Surtex and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair.  What an inspiring week in one of my favorite cities!  My husband joined me on this trip and that made it extra-special!  He's such a huge part of my business (and, obviously, my life) that I love it when he gets to join me for events like this!

As many of you know, I set up at Surtex back in 2005.  I met my agent at that show and signed with her, so I didn't show again while I was with her.  In fact, I didn't even attend.  So it was really great to be back walking the shows and soaking up all of the business and design inspiration!  I made these little hand-drawn pouches and filled them with my colorable postcards, then I gave them out to some of my favorite friends, artists and clients.  I really love doing unique, custom work like this!  I think it makes for the best gifts!

And, speaking of these postcards... they are now available exclusively on Great.ly!  If you haven't heard about Greatly yet, you must check it out.  It's a wonderful marketplace where makers and tastemakers (bloggers, editors, etc.) can connect, and it is going to be HUGE!  I'm so happy to be a part of it!  You can also find my coloring wrapping paper there, stocked in several boutiques!
