I've mentioned it before, but it is worth mentioning again--I absolutely love the wonderful team at Sew4Home! They were great to work with, and I am in love with their beautiful site. You must check out these gorgeous pinboards they made using Silent Cinema! So cute, right? They are planning more projects using these fabrics--I can't wait to see what they come up with!
I've seen some more great posts/projects featuring Silent Cinema recently. I've been posting all of these on my Facebook page as they come up, so if you would like more frequent updates than what I provide here, make sure you visit that page! Here are a couple of great links:
Silent Cinema Pillows from Sew Modern --I love how great these look in this setting!
Swatchtower from Leigh Ann at Spincushion --I love this site and love the photos she paired with my prints!
For a list of stores carrying this new line, check out the left column on my blog. Hawthorne Threads, Quilt Home, Fat Quarter Shop and Fabricworm are all carrying the entire line! I love all of these stores and am so happy they've chosen to stock this collection. A special thank you to Quilt Home--they are also carrying the laminates and home decor fabrics for Silent Cinema, as well as all four of my other fabric collections!
I've been working away these past few weeks, getting some things ready for quilt market. I'm not having a booth this year, but I'll be in attendance, spending lots of time at the Free Spirit designer booth. Be sure to stop by and say hi if you are going to be around! Above is a pillow I created using this great tutorial from Quilt Dad. This was a fabulous tutorial--really super easy to follow along! And I love the results! I've also been working on some clothing to wear to the show. I'll try to share some of that with you later in the week.
I've been a little preoccupied lately, what with all the scary weather that has been rolling through these parts of the world. I have gone down to our basement more times in the last couple of weeks than I have in the entire year before. We've had so many tornado warnings--thankfully, we have been safe--and now our city is bracing for the highest flood levels the Mississippi River has seen here in Memphis in almost 100 years. There has already been a lot of flooding around the city and we are expecting a lot more. I've seen the sun peeking out a few times today, so that has been a much welcomed sight!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Now head over to that great giveaway and enter already!!
